Retailer worksheet

Naked Diamonds does not hold inventory. When we link to a retailer we earn a commission if you buy. That is why this page is a scoring sheet, not a “best of” list.

Terms below are what a careful shopper should verify on the live site the day they buy. Policies change. We are not the retailer.

Score the store before you score the stone

ImagingActual video or high-res photo of that stone, not a stock render of the shape.Placeholder image, “similar stone,” or no 360° view on a fancy shape.
Report accessFull report or report number you can verify on GIA / IGI / GCAL.Grade letters only. No lab, no number, no plot.
Lab / origin filterYou can isolate natural vs laboratory-grown, and see the label on the listing.Origin buried, mixed inventory with no filter, or “diamond” used for simulants.
Measurementsmm dimensions, table, depth, L/W visible without opening five tabs.Carat and 4Cs only. Hidden depth weight.
ReturnsWritten window, who pays shipping, restocking fee stated before checkout.“Contact us,” final sale on custom, or the policy is only in the footer PDF.
SupportYou can ask about a specific report number and get a human answer.Chatbot only, no way to request extra photos.

If two of those fail, leave. A cheaper ticket does not replace a video and a return window.

How we use the three links on this site

James Allen, Blue Nile and Ritani are the affiliate destinations already on the site. They are large catalogs with report-based search. They are not the only honest retailers, and a commission does not make them “recommended” in the magazine sense.

ImagingReportsLab / origin filterUse them for
James Allen Usually has per-stone video on loose inventory. Report on the listing; verify the number on the lab site anyway. Natural and lab-grown can be filtered. Confirm the badge on the stone you open. Comparing several candidates of the same spec with video.
Blue Nile Imagery quality varies by stone. Skip listings that look like renders. Report access is the filter. No report, no purchase. Origin should be explicit. Do not assume. Broad inventory and setting + stone packages — still inspect the center stone.
Ritani Check that the media is the stone in the cart. Same rule: report number you can look up. Sells both origins. Filter first if that matters to you. Settings examples, including a few Asscher styles kept from the old site.

These deep links existed on the previous site and are kept so old URLs do not die. Availability changes. For Asscher proportions and vs-emerald, use AsscherDiamond.com.
