How to Compare Diamond Prices Without Falling for Marketing

Diamond price comparison only works when the stones are genuinely comparable. A cheaper listing may simply have different cut quality, measurements, grading context, fluorescence, inclusions or return terms.

Build a like-for-like comparison

Ignore percentage-off theatre

A discount percentage is only meaningful if the reference price is meaningful. Compare final prices for comparable stones rather than relying on “retail value,” crossed-out prices or generic savings claims.

Compare the entire transaction

Return shipping, setting policies, resizing, warranty terms, upgrade programs and customer support can all matter. They should not outweigh the diamond itself, but they are part of the purchase.

Retailer links

These are affiliate links. Use them to compare actual inventory and reports; Naked Diamonds may earn a commission if you purchase.
